The Bertalli family arrived in Australia from Sondrio in far north Italy, over a century ago. Flour has been running through our veins ever since and today their descendants continue this rich tradition by producing the outstanding range of Alpine Breads. You can only be taught so much about baking breads, the rest has to come from the heart and soul.
Traditionally, breads from the region are full of flavour and through a unique process of slow fermentation and the addition of whole grains, sprouted grains and seeds, we have continued the family tradition by producing the truly superb eating Tuscany Grain bread.
